starting at 9€ per month
In addition to providing for the basic needs of the residents, you'll receive monthly news about your chimpanzee ambassador in the form of a newsletter and photos.

Once you've chosen your future chimpanzee ambassador, all you have to do is select the payment method you'd like to use, and the sponsorship form. The various payment methods available to you are :

Forest excursions
Akatia's animal carers take the chimpanzees out into the forest every day. All day long, from morning until bedtime, they can explore, discover and familiarize themselves with the environment around them.
Note : chimpanzees are not pets!
These chimpanzees are orphans who have fallen victim to the illegal bushmeat and pet trade. They are being rehabilitated at the Akatia sanctuary.
